Questions about VibeMagic

Answers to the questions we hear most often: about what VibeMagic is, how it works with your data, and what's involved in getting started. If something's missing, talk to the team.

01 About VibeMagic

What VibeMagic is, and who it is for.

Q.01.01 What is VibeMagic?

VibeMagic is a platform built by Blueberry Consultants that lets non-technical teams build, deploy and manage AI-powered tools and applications, without needing software developers in-house. It provides the infrastructure, AI coding assistance, data connections, and support that would otherwise require a full technical team.

The platform covers everything from ready-built apps you can deploy immediately, through to fully custom applications built with AI assistance and professional software development practices.

Q.01.02 Who is VibeMagic designed for?

VibeMagic is designed primarily for small and medium-sized organisations that want to build on AI capabilities but don't have the technical resource that large enterprises can deploy. It's particularly suited to organisations already running Microsoft 365, where VibeMagic can connect directly to your existing identity, file and data infrastructure.

Within those organisations, the platform is built for business teams, not just developers. People with domain expertise but no software background can direct AI tools to build things that actually reflect how their organisation works.

Q.01.03 Do I need to know how to code to use it?

Not to use the App Store or to direct the AI to build things for you. AI coding tools have made it possible for people with no software background to build working applications by describing what they want. VibeMagic provides the infrastructure, guardrails and support that make that practically viable rather than just theoretically possible.

That said, the platform works best when there is some technical capability available (either within your team or through VibeMagic's own support) for the more complex stages of larger projects. Build Big projects in particular benefit from someone who can work confidently with code and a Git-based workflow, even if they're not a professional developer.

Q.01.04 Is VibeMagic a Blueberry Consultants product?

Yes. VibeMagic is designed, built and operated by Blueberry Consultants, a software company based in Birmingham, UK. Blueberry has been building custom software for organisations across the Midlands for three decades. VibeMagic is the platform we've built to make that capability accessible to organisations without a full in-house development team.

02 The Platform

The three ways to build.

Q.02.01 What's the difference between the App Store, Build Fast and Build Big?

The App Store is where you access tools and applications that are already built. Deploy them to your organisation with a few clicks, configure them for your context, and they're ready to use. No dev required.

Build Fast is for creating simple, purpose-specific tools quickly (forms, automations, data views) where the scope is well-defined and the priority is speed. Suitable for non-technical users working on contained problems.

Build Big is for full custom applications: things that need proper software development practices, Git-based version control, automated testing and a structured deployment process. This is where VibeMagic handles the professional infrastructure so that AI-assisted development stays on solid ground.

Q.02.02 Which AI coding tools does VibeMagic work with?

VibeMagic is tool-agnostic. Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and other AI coding tools all work with VibeMagic's foundations. You choose the tool you prefer (or the one that works best for a given task) and VibeMagic provides the platform underneath it.

Your choice of AI coding tool and your choice of foundation are independent. You're not locked into any particular combination.

Q.02.03 What programming frameworks does VibeMagic support?

VibeMagic currently provides the pre-tested SvelteKit Foundation for modern, lightweight web applications and the BBWT3 Angular Foundation (Blueberry's own web toolkit) for more powerful .NET-based enterprise work. VibeMagic Foundations are pre-written and security-tested starter kits. They provide a base for AI to build on which significantly reduces the risk of errors that stem from shaky foundations.

Additional Foundations are on the roadmap. Talk to the team if your project has specific framework requirements.

03 Data & Security

Where your data lives, and who can reach it.

Q.03.01 Where is our data stored?

VibeMagic connects to your data where it already lives: in Microsoft 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, or your internal systems via the API directory. It does not replicate your data outside your existing infrastructure. Files remain in Microsoft's infrastructure; access happens through the same permissions framework your organisation already uses.

Q.03.02 How does user authentication work?

VibeMagic integrates with Entra ID, Microsoft's subsystem for users, groups and two-factor authentication, which is included in all Microsoft 365 plans. When users log in to any VibeMagic app or tool, they use their existing Microsoft 365 account. There are no separate credentials to manage and no new user directories to maintain.

Support for other identity providers (including Google Workspace) is on the roadmap. The current release is optimised for organisations already running Microsoft 365.

Q.03.03 How are permissions and access managed within VibeMagic?

Access to resources within VibeMagic is controlled by VM's own user group system, managed directly in the VM Portal. Administrators can create new groups or import existing Entra ID groups, so if your organisation already uses Entra groups to organise teams, you can reuse them without starting from scratch.

This means VibeMagic's access control sits at the application layer, separate from your Entra ID configuration, which is typically managed by IT rather than the teams running individual tools.

Q.03.04 Can VibeMagic connect to our internal systems and APIs?

Yes. VibeMagic includes an API directory that covers internal systems (your own business applications), external APIs (third-party services your organisation uses), and VM-native APIs. Once a connection is configured in the directory, it's available to all apps and tools built on the platform, without each project having to set up the same integration from scratch.

This is one of the most significant practical differences between VibeMagic and general-purpose AI tools: AI running on individual subscriptions can't reach your internal data. VibeMagic is specifically designed to make that connection possible, within your existing security perimeter.

Q.03.05 Does VibeMagic work with SharePoint and OneDrive?

Yes. VibeMagic's file system access layer connects directly to SharePoint and OneDrive, so your apps and tools can read and write documents, spreadsheets and files that live in your existing Microsoft 365 file stores. Access is governed by the same permissions your users already have. Nobody gets access to files they couldn't reach directly.

04 Building & Deploying

From a change to a deployment.

Q.04.01 How does deployment work?

For Build Big projects, VibeMagic handles the full deployment process (build, server configuration and release management) with a single action. The cloud hosting, environment variables and deployment pipelines are configured at the outset, so there's no last-minute infrastructure work when you're ready to ship.

Dev, staging and production environments are consistent from day one, so what works in development works in production. Deployments are repeatable and auditable: every release is tracked, and rollback is straightforward if something unexpected surfaces.

Q.04.02 How does VibeMagic handle code quality and testing?

When you push changes, VibeMagic runs an AI-powered code review alongside automated UI tests. Security vulnerabilities, quality problems and functional bugs are flagged before they reach production, not discovered by users after release.

The code review understands what the code is trying to do, not just whether it compiles, so it flags logic errors, edge cases and insecure data handling that a syntax checker would miss. Automated tests exercise the UI against real data, checking that the application behaves correctly across the scenarios that matter.

Q.04.03 What happens to our apps if we change AI providers?

The applications built on VibeMagic are standard code: SvelteKit or BBWT3 applications on a Git repository. They don't depend on a specific AI coding tool to run; the AI is used to help build and modify them, not to operate them. If you switch from one AI coding tool to another, your existing applications are unaffected.

This is an important design principle: VibeMagic is tool-agnostic precisely so that your investments aren't tied to the AI market's current state, which is still evolving quickly.

05 Support

What happens when you need help.

Q.05.01 What support is included with VibeMagic?

VibeMagic includes a built-in support platform with community posts, private tickets, and the ability to attach specific project context (your code, your prompt history, your configuration) to any support request. The VM team monitors all posts and responds to anything that needs expert attention.

For issues that need more than a post thread, you can book a live 1:1 session with a VibeMagic expert directly from within the platform. If the issue needs hands-on attention, the expert can request permission to remote control your desktop and work directly in your environment.

Q.05.02 What is the remote desktop support and how does it work?

During a booked expert session, the VibeMagic expert can request permission to remote control your desktop. You grant access with a single confirmation and can revoke it at any moment. The expert works directly in your environment in real time, reading error messages in context, making changes to the code, and testing the fix before handing control back.

Sessions are recorded in full, so you have a complete record of what was done and why. The fix becomes part of your project history rather than disappearing when the call ends.

Q.05.03 Is expert session support included or charged separately?

Talk to the team about what's included in your plan. Community posts and private ticket support are part of the platform. Expert 1:1 sessions are available to all users. Details of session allocation and any additional charges depend on your agreement. Contact us for specifics.

06 Getting Started

Your first step.

Q.06.01 What Microsoft 365 licences do we need?

Entra ID (which is what VibeMagic uses for identity) is included in all Microsoft 365 business plans. You don't need a specific tier to get started. For full file and data integration with SharePoint and OneDrive, you'll need the Microsoft 365 licences your users already hold for those services.

Talk to the team during onboarding and we'll confirm exactly what your existing licences cover.

Q.06.02 How do we get started with VibeMagic?

The starting point is a conversation with the Blueberry team to understand your organisation's context: what you're trying to build, what data connections you need, and which part of the platform fits your immediate priorities. From there, onboarding involves setting up your Entra ID integration, configuring your first environment, and getting your team into the portal.

Most organisations start with a specific project in mind rather than deploying the full platform at once. Get in touch and we'll talk through what a sensible first step looks like for your situation.

Q.06.03 Is there a trial or demo available?

Yes. We can arrange a live demonstration of the platform and walk through a use case relevant to your organisation. Talk to the team to set something up.

Still need a hand?

Still have questions?

The team at Blueberry is happy to talk through your situation: what you're trying to build, what your data landscape looks like, and whether VibeMagic is the right fit.
